These original paintings are painted by Gilly Gobinet. They are highly sought after by local residents as well as visitors to the Caribbean. You can see them in art galleries, restaurants and resorts as well as in many private homes.
She has achieved international recognition and won several art awards for her paintings. These art awards include the prestigious Antiguan Art Society’s Annual Awards and the Supreme Award for Excellence in the Islands Arts Quest Competition. She has had many highly successful one-person art shows in Caracas, Venezuela, Anguilla, St. Lucia and Antigua as well as group art shows in Antigua, Guadeloupe, Anguilla and Hong Cong. She has also shown her art work at the Venezuelan Institute for Culture in Antigua.
