Gilly Gobinet's watercolour prints and original paintings are highly sought after by local residents and visitors alike. They are on display in art galleries, restaurants and many private homes in Antigua and throughout the Caribbean, Europe and the Americas.
In Antigua, Gilly's prints and books are on sale in most hotels. In St. John's, Jacaranda on Redcliffe Quay which, like Shipwreck Shop in
Heritage Quay, has the full range of her prints and books.

, is located deep in the Antiguan rain forest and it features some of Gilly's original art pieces and

Original paintings are also available directly from the artist at her studio in Fitches Creek (on the north-east coast, behind the airport). Visitors are always welcome but it is best to telephone for an appointment in advance.

Gilly is a passionate traveller and has visited the region extensively, painting local scenes and capturing the colours and essence of Caribbean life on paper and on canvas. Her extensive collection of paintings and printed images features aspects of various Caribbean islands such as Antigua & Barbuda, Anguilla, Barbados, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Kitts & Nevis, Montserrat and the USVI. Gilly's high-quality prints are available mounted with matts in standard frame sizes 5x7", 11x14", 10x20" and 16x20. Unmounted prints are available upon request.
The long-awaited Art Gallery in Sandals Grande Resort & Spa, Antigua, is now open. It showcases original art by Gilly (watercolour, pen & ink and acrylic) in styles ranging from realist & figurative to abstract & cartoons, on paper, wood & canvas. High-quality fine-art postcards, greetings cards and hilarious Caribbean Christmas cards are also featured, exclusive to Sandals, together with high-quality fine-art prints.
Sizes vary from 4x6" to 24x36", but everything can travel in your suitcase, as the larger canvases can be easily detached from their stretchers and rolled and the watercolours, black & white sketches and canvas on board have removable frames and all have re-sealable protective coverings.
The subjects of Gilly's work are equally wide-ranging, although most of her inspiration is derived from the Caribbean in general and Antigua in particular. She also works upon commission; this includes an exclusive life drawing option for guests of Sandals Antigua only. A selection of nude studies is on display in the Art Gallery which is located in St. Mark's Square (opposite the Resort Shop) at Sandals Grande Resort & Spa. Gilly will also paint any particular aspect of Sandals or Antigua that is special to you: a wonderful and unique memento of your stay.
